Ice Breaking Drills

A vital part of the FInse training expedition was for all the team to complete emergency ice breaking drills.  As the team will be crossing a frozen sea they need to have efficient drills in case someone falls through the ice. All the team had to step into a hole cut in a lake with full equipment, swim to the far side and then climb out - a tough challenge but everyone completed it.
